One To Watch: Dahliana

When it comes to skin care, I generally stick to what works. But, at the same time, I don't want to miss out on the next big thing, so I'm always on the hunt for new products to try.

It's rare that I get excited about a skin care brand, especially when its new to the UK, but I find Los Angeles' Dahliana to have refreshing products made with basic, fresh ingredients. I like that the brand is all about using fruit stem cell technology and organic components to reduce visible signs of skin ageing.

So, as you can imagine, when I received the Overnight Fruit Lift Cream from the lovely A Beautiful World, I just couldn't wait to get it out the box and see what the fuss was all about.

As you can see, the packaging is simple and clear, which says a lot about the brand. I love the simplicity and purity of the product and my first impression is that my skin won't be overwhelmed by it.

Then we have the cream itself. I'm not going to lie - I was taken aback when I saw what essentially looks like custard for my face - but I was more concerned with the texture of the cream, which was light and non-greasy.

The Overnight Fruit Lift Cream is meant to be a hybrid product - somewhere between a peel and a mask. It exfoliates, encourages cell turnover and boosts collagen production, which all equals brand new, refreshed skin in the morning.

The key ingredients here are fruit stem cells, pharma-grade co-enzyme Q10, natural alpha hydroxy acids and fresh, organic acerola cherry juice.

In one word - yum. What a skin care treat!

Would you try this overnight cream? xxx
